National Novel Writing Month 2011

Is anyone writing a novel this month? National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) starts today!
All you have to do is write 50,000 words of brand new fiction in 30 days! That's over 1,600 words a day!

Every year I watch it fly by, saying "meh, maybe next year".  But this year? Why not! I have a bajillion things running though my head at any given time - might as well vomit it all out on paper a Word doc. Then I can cross it off my unwritten bucket list. Ha!

Don't worry though, I won't subject this poor blog to the horror that is my fantasy writing.  You see enough of my typos and grammar mistakes as it is.  But if anyone wants to participate in NaNoWriMo with me, that would be awesome! We can toil along together! And then brag about how we've written a novel at the end!

Wow, look at me talking like I can actually finish. Haha! We'll see!

  1. This is awesome! I applaud you in your efforts, but most likely will not be joining this year. Work has been insane, and I can't stomach the thought of putting even more pressure on myself now. But this is seriously amazing and I know you can do it!

  2. Hooray, Nanowrimo! I successfully completed 50k in 2006...epic failed in 2007...and just haven't had time again since then. But one of these days...

good luck to you! I know you can do it!
