And Then There Were Two

"I forgot how weird you were."  Sak said, his eyes a bit wide.

I proceeded to make wiggle my arms around like jellied worms and hop around the living room on one foot, making strange noises.  The sound of a freed Penga.

We dropped BIL at the airport Saturday.  He's on his way to a shiny new job in Washington DC.

Sak and I are now trying to remember what life was like nine months ago.  When it was just the two of us.  It kinda feels new and exciting like it did right after we got married.  It's weird, we've officially lived in our new home longer with BIL than without.  So it's a strange feeling now that he's gone.

But now I can walk around the house uh, *freely*, again.  Or dance. Badly. Sak and I can both remember who we truly are when no one's watching - weirdos.  And I'm sure BIL is enjoying his own bit of freedom on the East Coast as well. It's win-win, all around.

Oh, the sweet taste of freedom.

  1. Hooray! Have fun! Although I'm sure you're not as embarrassing as me and D, when we're alone together he plays video games and action figures and I surf the internet and mindlessly snack while occasionally grunting at each other and that's about it.
